Location

The Edgartown Beach is in the Dukes County of Massachusetts State of USA. It is located in the Marthas Vineyard Island along the Sangekontacket Pond.

People who love skiing can visit the ski areas, which are just a few miles away from the Edgartown Beach. One can have a great skiing experience in these places. The Blue Hills ski area, which is nearly 60 miles away from the Edgartown Beach with a 309 feet vertical drop, is an excellent place for skiing and it has a cozy ski resort. The Yawgoo Valley ski area is another hot skiing spot, which is nearly 60 miles away from the Edgartown Beach with a 245 feet vertical drop. Snow season is the best time of the year for skiing and snowboarding. Hanging out with a ski mate and a few exercises will make one delightful.

One will surely love to play golf while enjoying a day at the beach. One will also never realize the time running out of hands while playing golf. If you feel like playing golf, there are many golf courses very near to the Edgartown Beach and they are Farm Neck Golf Club (3 miles) and Mink Meadows Golf Club (4 miles).

National parks can also be found near the Edgartown Beach. People can have a very good time in these parks. After a long day outdoors there is nothing like sitting and relaxing on a park’s bench. A few national parks that are close by are Cape Code National Seashore (41 miles) and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area (61 miles).

The Bend-in-the-Road Beach (1 mile), The Lighthouse Beach (2 miles), The Fuller Street Beach (2 miles), The Chappaquiddick Beach (3 miles) and The Oak Bluffs Town Beach (3 miles) are a few other beaches that are nearby the Edgartown Beach.

Best period to visit

The Edgartown Beach has high level of rainfall during the month of December which makes the place rather wet, and it is driest during the month of July. So, except July and December, the other months are considered the best period to visit this beach.
