Tourist attractions

Hold Shore is not a very crowded beach. If you're here at Hold Shore, you could have a look at the Big Brook, and paddling on Old Stream will increase your enthusiasm. The Greenland Cove is not far from Hold Shore at all, and Campbell Shore is virtually here. Whitewater paddling is good at the Grand Lake Stream, and the Corliss Point is very near here, and is a perfect location to have a look at.

The breath-taking scenery of Maine and the beautiful way the water flows down the stream will make you feel exhilarated. You may have to look for a hotel a bit away from the river if you have made up your mind to stay overnight here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels get filled up very fast. There are no other stretches to paddle along Grand Lake Stream than the West Grand Lake to Big Lake stretch. This stretch of Grand Lake Stream in Maine is 3 miles long. Whether you're kayaking or whitewater rafting around here, you'll find lots of good places.

A short tour to Little Falls is always worthwhile, and a tour to the Grand Lake Stream wouldn't be complete without visiting Big Falls. Just hanging out with 'mother nature' will tempt you to come here again. A visit to Dyer Point Riffles will fill your soul with good feelings. The eye-catching scenery of Washington County and the sight of the sparkling of the sunlight on the waters bring people to this lovely spot.

The scenery around the Long Lake attracts many people from all around. A good site to camp here at Long Lake is the Big Lake Campground, and there are some enjoyable whitewater spots at the St. Croix River. You may visit the Corliss Point when you're here at Long Lake, and get into a kayak and spend some time at the Grand Lake Stream. Camping at Long Lake Campground is always a fine experience, and a visit to The Basin invigorates your soul.

This river has much to offer people who love fun. The Smith Mill Pitch is an exciting place to see while you're here at the East Machias River, and a visit to Wigwam Riffles will lift your spirits. You also need to take a look at the Crooked Pitch since you're here at East Machias River, and also visit the Munson Rips.
