The MacFadden Beach lies near the High Island in the Jefferson County Texas, USA.

Historical significance

Port Arthur is near to the MacFadden Beach. It became the twelfth largest port by 1914. It got its name in honor of Arthur E. Stilwell.

The Village Creek State Park is also near to the MacFadden Beach. It is known for its wild beauty. It covers almost 1,090 acres. The nine-banded armadillos, spring-peeper, diamond-back water snakes, snapping turtles, white tailed deers, opossums are the inmates of this park.

The Big Thicket National Preserve is a treasure trove of both botanical and biological wonders. In 1981, The UNESCO designated it as the International Biosphere Reserve. This preserve is a home to a variety of plants and animals. Here you can enjoy hiking at its best. The Big Thicket national preserve is the dream land for bird watchers. Best period to visit

Tourists normally visit the MacFadden Beach in the month of March as it is nice to be here in summer. In the month of September there will be plenty of rainfall.
